I only gave it four stars because I have not had any hot wood fires yet, and it seems to be a good quality grate. This is a heavier grate than a lot of the other ones I have seen. I am hoping it will be as good as I am imagining.

This was a wise purchase. We needed a set for inside and outside fireplaces. Highly recommend.

We haven’t actually used this yet, as we ordered it well after the fireplace season here, though it is definitely very heavy duty with good welds, and is well designed to fit in our fireplace as well as hold the wood and allow the fire to breathe.

This grate is……haha SUPER GREAT! Solid craftsmanship heavy, heavy duty. Have great expectations of a long relationship.
